Proof that it's really cold outside

At 6:00 AM this morning I followed a strange sound down into the basement. My socks quickly encountered ice cold water. I don't think the dog can be blamed for this one. Upon further examination - the entire basement was submerged in icy water and the ceiling in the northern closet had water pouring from it. The cause was this joint pipe that froze during the night and burst, splitting the remaining pipe that ran along the house to the front sprocket. What a way to start your day...
